大阪府生まれ。大阪外国語大学外国語学部国際文化学科（国際関係専攻）卒業、英国 University of Sussex（Center for Culture, Development and Environment）修士課程修了、英国 University of Warwick（Department of Politics and International Studies）博士課程修了。
研究テーマ
国際協力/グローバル・ガバナンス研究 / International Cooperation / Global Governance
国際関係学の観点から国際協力分野の政策研究や国際機関研究を行っている。最近は、国際協力分野におけるグローバル・ガバナンスの在り方、アフリカの開発課題、日本の援助政策など、現地調査も含めた研究を実施している。
